Golf Cart Driver’s Information

The Buchanan Band program is fortunate to provide adult golf cart drivers at each Fresno State Home Football Game. This is an exclusive opportunity for our program and a significant fundraiser. Golf cart drivers help those who need a little extra assistance getting to their seats. Thank you for volunteering to drive!

2023 Fresno State Home Game Dates

September 9th • September 23rd
September 30th • October 28th
November 4th • November 18th
+ Home Playoffs (TBD)

Driver Requirements:

  1. All cart drivers must be 21 years of age, or older, and possess a valid California Drivers License. A copy of each driver’s license must be provided to the Athletic Corporation at each event. 

  2. All drivers must complete the 3-Step Fresno State Volunteer Authorization (link on #5). When completing the form:

    1. For the question about upervising, drivers can select "No"

    2. Campus Department/Program is Athletics

    3. Employee Status is Athletic Corporation

  3. Cart services are provided free of charge to fans attending games at Valley Children’s Stadium. Cart Drivers are not permitted to ask for tips for providing these services.

  4. The required professional attire is khaki pants with a white collared shirt. The Athletic Corporation will provide vests and badges which must be worn by all cart drivers. Badges and vests will be given out at the start of the season and returned after the last game. Buchanan Committee will be billed for any badges or vests not returned at the end of the season.

  1. Optional/Tentative: A carpool departs from Buchanan 2.5 hours before kickoff if someone wants to organize it!

  2. Arrive at West Annex Building in the White Lot off of Millbrook Ave 2 hours before kickoff. (Google Maps)

  3. All CART DRIVERS will receive instruction at the pre-game briefing meeting.

  4. On average, golf cart drivers stay until approximately 1 hour after the game concludes.
